alert notification: Time for your meds.

There's a conversation a lot of us are quietly having with ourselves. Not out loud, not yet — just a low-level hum in the background that gets a little louder every time we visit our parents.

Are they okay? Are they taking their medications? Would I even know if they weren't?

I had that conversation for a while before I decided to do something about it.

My mom's name is Claire. She's independent, she's sharp, and she is absolutely capable of forgetting her medications on a Tuesday. Not because anything is wrong — just because life gets in the way. It gets in the way for all of us.

I'm a builder by nature, so I built something.

It's called ClaraReminds — named after her. The idea is simple: at whatever time you set, Clara sends a friendly text message to your loved one. Something warm, something human. They reply "Done." You get a quiet notification that they're okay. If they don't reply, you get an alert.

No app. No smartphone required. No learning curve. Just a text message.

It works on any phone, it takes a few minutes to set up, and it costs $10 a month.

I built it for Claire. But if someone in your life could use a gentle, dignified nudge — or honestly, if that someone is you — it's ready.
